Shocks
The most common mistake after a drop is keeping the factory shocks. A stock shock on a lowered truck spends its life compressed, rides harshly and wears out fast - it is the wrong length for the job.
How to choose one: measure your compressed and extended distance between the shock mounts, then match those numbers against the specs listed on each shock here. If you are lowering the truck now rather than fixing an existing drop, the complete kits already include the right shocks.
