Spindles
If you only read one paragraph on this site, read this one: a drop spindle is the best way to lower a front end. It relocates the hub on the knuckle, so the spring, the travel and the ride quality all remain factory - the truck simply sits two to three inches lower.
Springs are cheaper. Spindles ride better. On a daily-driven truck, spindles are usually worth the difference.
