Lowering Kits
Kits are named by their drop, front over rear. A 2/4 lowers the front two inches and the rear four - the classic sport truck rake, and the safest first drop on a daily driver. 3/5 is the popular middle ground. 4/6 and beyond starts needing a C-notch for rear axle clearance and an alignment kit up front.
What is in the box: the front drop components, the rear, the grade 8 hardware, and shocks valved for the new height. Buying the kit rather than the pieces is what gets you a truck that sits level and still rides properly.
What is not in the box: an alignment. Budget for one - on a lowered truck it is the difference between tyres lasting and tyres being scrubbed off in a season.
